How to Get Your Point Across in 30 Seconds or Less
****

Book number two in the Book Club is “How to Get Your Point Across in 30 Seconds or Less” by Milo Frank.

Here’s a 30-seconds-or-less overview:

The first basic principle is to have a clear-cut objective, to know what you want. There can be only one objective and it must be clear-cut and specific. As Frank puts it: What is The Goal, The Destination, The Purpose, The End in View, The Target?

The second basic principle is to know your listener and what he wants. What are his responsibilities? What is his background? Interests? Hobbies? Common ground?

The third basic principle is a well-formulated approach. The right approach is the single thought or sentence that will best lead you to your objective.
Great stuff for sales professionals from Milo Frank here…
