Powerful Sales Referrals and Testimonials

Anyone that’s been around for more than a handful of years in sales knows the power of referrals and testimonials. But how far do you, personally, go with gathering and using these?

Some sales professionals we know have entire “credibility binders” stocked with letters written by satisfied customers on those customers’ letterhead. But have you ever thought about video or audio? Have you ever considered the power of a CD-ROM or DVD as part of a presentation that demonstrates your superior product or service.

There are a multitude of companies that offer these as a service (including a couple in the UK) , if you choose to record them professionally. If you’re extremely adventurous and want to put together professional-style videos on your own, there’s some astounding software you can buy.

The tools and service providers to make this happen on a highly persuasive scale are out there. But are you even using standard technology — asking for a letter?
