Most of us still live in spreadsheet-and-email land. But there are other great (and free) tools for engaging and getting feedback from either your own sales force or your customers. That honest, 360-degree feedback is crucial to confront the harsh realities of your business…or to simply engage your team and customers. For that, enter Wufoo.com.

In less than 15 minutes you can have a form that you can then link to (in a mass email for instance), or embed in your company’s web site. The results of the form can also be viewed in very easy to setup reports and graphs. Cool stuff. We’ve created a sample sales force survey you can view. But the tool could even be used for selling a product, signing up registrations for an event, or any other info collection you need done.
A quick look at some of the features:
Fast form setup. Fast report setup. Add your logo to the top of the form. Ask any type of question (multiple choice, drop-down selections, checkboxes, etc.). Require certain fields to be completed. Add user instructions for each form field. Send confirmation emails (disabled in our sample to prevent spam) and show a custom confirmation message on-screen . You can even limit users to submitting the form once, and share survey results with users by including a link to the results report in your confirmation email. All of this by clicking and dragging things around — no technical programming.
Wufoo has several competitors in this area, from online survey services to other form-builders. A few others are: Icebrrg, SurveyMonkey, and AskItOnline. We found Wufoo to be a fast, simple, affordable solution for any size team or company.
When it’s this easy and inexpensive to collect information and feedback, why not do it?
