If you needed an additional reason to ditch Microsoft Explorer as your web browser in favor of Firefox, it’s called Morning Coffee. It’s as simple as it is clever.
You get to the office, grab a cup of java, check email, open your browser and voila - displayed are the news pages on the websites of your competitors. Perhaps those of your main prospects and customers. Or, if you must, the pages with new job listings on your favorite online job sites.

You get the idea. This Firefox plugin opens your favorite sites when you start your browser at a click of the mouse, skipping sites on days where desired (business sites only on workdays, your favorite sports page on sunday) - you’ll never forget the sites you need to check at the beginning of your workday ever again.
It does make me curious - which sites would you make part of your „Morning Coffee” check?

Jan, you slipped this one in without me knowing it. What a great tool to introduce. A subtle productivity builder. I just installed this a week ago and it’s a killer way to start the day. Email, news, my online notes board, with just one click. This is really cool.
