Which sales tools are so important to your selling efforts that you couldn’t do without them? Online or offline, hardware or software, anything that helps you sell. Be specific and let us know in the comments.

My company major services are: web applications and web services development, eCommerce, corporate and community website design, internet marketing, graphic design.
I have to say that for this moment after 5 years in this business I can tell for sure that nothing works better in my sphere of business than recommendations of my loyal customers, of my friends and of other people I personally know. The thing is that I can not control/manage that channel. All I can do is keep providing perfect customer service and effective solutions to my customers.
Yes, I tried and keep trying a great many of sales channels and tools. Like: eLance.com, LinkedIn.com, Yahoo Answers, Judy’s book, IncBizNet, E-mail marketing apps, AdWords, Facecontact.com, online and offline direct marketing, all kinds of offline and online clubs and commerce chambers, niche and local online forums — and many many others.
95% of customers keep coming to my company only from recommendations. But some of the channels and tools listed above work just fine for my clients that do their business in other industries.
